Madelyn Birmingham Joins Toledo Ticket Technologies as Director of Marketing
TOLEDO, OH—Toledo Ticket Technologies, a five-generation family business specializing in parking and ticketing solutions, has announced the hiring of Madelyn Birmingham as its new Director of Marketing.
Thomas Carter, Chief Executive Officer of Toledo Ticket Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about Birmingham’s appointment: “We are incredibly fortunate to have Madelyn Birmingham leading our marketing efforts. Her impressive track record at Siena Heights University and her exceptional skills in brand management and creative writing will be invaluable as we continue to elevate our brand and expand our market presence. We are excited to see the fresh ideas she will bring to our team.”
Birmingham joins Toledo Ticket following almost two years at Siena Heights University, a private higher education institution headquartered in Adrian, Michigan. Initially hired in August 2022 as a Content Writer, she quickly demonstrated her broader value and was asked to take on the role of Marketing Communications Manager. While in this role, she was responsible for managing the workflow for the university’s in-house creative team, ensuring all marketing materials were delivered on time and upheld the brand standards and positioning of the institution. Birmingham also served as the Interim Director of Marketing from December 2023 to February 2024.
During her time at Siena Heights, Birmingham assisted in designing and implementing both marketing strategies and campaigns. From overseeing the university’s internal communications channels, and creating compelling content for use on social platforms, to writing executive speeches and institutional press releases, Birmingham worked diligently to uphold and advance the Siena Heights University brand and reputation. Additionally, she played a central role in managing key marketing partnerships and media sponsorships, significantly boosting the university’s brand visibility both online and on campus. Birmingham was also responsible for publishing two editions of the alumni magazine, Reflections, and led several innovative communications projects, including the deployment of digital messaging and signage systems throughout the campus. She also played a key role in organizing and promoting events, focusing on strengthening brand consistency and visibility, collaborating with each department to ensure a unified and effective communication strategy.
Birmingham is a Siena Heights graduate, having completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Creative Writing minor in May 2022. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors and received two distinctions from the Humanities Department for her contributions to the English—Creative Writing Program. Additionally, Birmingham was a four-year member of the women’s track and field team and served as team captain during her junior and senior seasons. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing from Emerson College.
“I am thrilled to join Toledo Ticket Technologies,” Birmingham said. “The company’s impressive legacy and dedication to excellence are truly inspiring. I look forward to helping shape and share our remarkable story and contribute to the continued growth of our brand and business.”
